Portfolio Project for grades 4-5Students in grades four and five can take part in the portfolio project as an additional activate to their classroom projects. The students will need to complete a total of 5 projects including the fowling; A self portrait, Resource Based Artwork and Reflection writing and three choice pieces. Portfolio Project for grades 6-8Students in grades six through eight can take part in the portfolio as an extension of their classwork projects and explorations. Our middle school students will explore art making via a personal journey with guidance. However by using choice based instruction or Teaching for artistic behavior instruction (TAB) the young artist in these grade levels will be creating their own portfolio in which they can sample from to be able to take part in the portfolio review. The students will need to complete a total of 5 projects including the fowling; A self portrait, Resource Based Artwork and Reflection writing, art from observation and two choice pieces. Portfolio Project for grades Studio ArtStudents in studio art, advanced eight grade class, can take part in the portfolio as a final exam in conclusion of their classwork and creative projects. Their classwork projects and explorations are based on the construction of a portfolio aligned with the requirements of this portfolio project experience. These students will explore art making via a personal journey through different topics and material skills. Teaching for artistic behavior instruction (TAB) is the guiding instruction that allows young artist to create their own portfolio in which they can take confidently to the portfolio review. The students will have not only creative works of art but complete writing samples and research. The students will need to complete a total of 6 projects including the fowling; A self portrait, Resource Based Artwork and Reflection writing, art from observation, process piece and two choice pieces.
